The "Outdoor Dumpdag"

The "Outdoor Dumpdag" (Outdoor dump day) is a day on which traders and wholesalers of outdoor sporting goods can sell their remnants items and showroom models of the past season in a simple, cheap and also efficient way. We organise this day with a minimum of trimmings and overheads thereby keeping the costs low both for the visitor as well as the exhibitor.

This activity was organised for the first time on November 28th. 2010 at the Amsterdam RAI.

For 2011 there is no new edition planned. If you are interested however, do not hesitate to contact us.

What is being sold

Outdoor sporting goods on sale include tents, sleeping bags, camping equipment, nordic walking poles, photographic equipment and accessories, action and sports clothing, holiday bikes and bicycles for recreation and sport, hiking boots, rucksacks, cycle bags and so on.

Company aims

These activities support our company aims because it means that the traded goods will be used rather than ending up being waste products. This is beneficial to the environment.Furthermore it means that visitors who are thinking of taking up cycling and rambling can kit themselves out cheaply with for example cycling pannier bags, climbing boots, a rucksack or a tent. Thereby increasing the chance that they will indeed go cycling or rambling during their holidays or as a recreational pursuit.
